What’s the best recipe keeper app you’re using?
Lately I realized my recipe “system” is basically chaos 😅
I save recipes from everywhere — TikTok, Instagram, blogs, YouTube, screenshots — and then when I actually want to cook something… I can never find it again.
Right now my recipes are scattered across:
• Notes app
• random browser bookmarks
• screenshots in my camera roll
• saved posts on Instagram
It’s honestly a mess.
Curious how people here manage this. Do you:
• keep a physical cookbook
• use Notes / Notion
• bookmark recipes
• or use a recipe app?
I ended up building a small personal app because I wanted something simple that just saves recipes from anywhere and organizes them automatically.
For example you can just share a recipe from TikTok or Instagram to the app and it saves the full recipe automatically, which has been surprisingly convenient.
But I’m mostly curious what real cooking people actually use, because I might be over-engineering the problem.
If anyone’s curious, the app I made is called Fooma, but I’d genuinely love to hear how you all organize recipes.
