Supply Chain Intern | Should I hold out hope or move on?
So basically a recruiter reached out to me with job descriptions from two different teams and asked if I would be interested. I shared my availability, and the recruiter scheduled the interviews within two days for the following week.
One of them did not go very well, but I believe the other one went well. During that interview, the interviewer reassured me that my lack of automotive or manufacturing experience would not be an issue. He ended the call by asking about my availability for the internship and my expected graduation date.
It has now been over a week since the interviews. I followed up with the recruiter at the one week mark, and it has been three days with no response.
My question is: should I continue waiting, given that the interviewer mentioned the timeline would be 1–2 weeks and said not to worry if I did not hear back within the first week? Or is the silence likely a sign that the opportunity is no longer moving forward?
