Hiring a YouTube Documentary Editor (10–20 Min Videos) — Long-Term Opportunity, Send Your Rates
Hey everyone,
I’m looking for a video editor for my new YouTube channel, and if things work well for both of us, I’d like this to turn into a long-term working relationship where you become my go-to editor.
What I’m looking for:
- Someone who understands YouTube editing for retention, pacing, hooks, and impact
- The videos will use real footage/images sourced online only — no stock footage or stock images
- No talking head content from me. Everything will be built from sourced clips/images
- Editing style similar to this video:

Video details:
- Length: 10–20 minutes
- Style: documentary style edits
- I will provide links to the footage, images, and articles to be used in the video
- The editor will need to download the videos/clips from those sources and build the visuals from them
Please include in your reply:
- Relevant samples only (documentary/commentary style)
- No gaming or TikTok edits
- Your turnaround time
- Your current rate
Video schedule:
- Starting with 1 video every 2 weeks
- Planning to scale to 1 video per week
- If things run efficiently, possibly 2 per week
I don’t use Discord, so please be able to communicate on Reddit or email.
If this sounds like a good fit, send over your work, details, and rates.
