Why do they ALWAYS buff air raids?

I’m TH18 and started playing consistently again right before the dragon duke was added and I can’t wrap my head around why they keep trivialising already easy attacks (air attacks). I get it’s good for the casual environment but you really can’t really play around and have fun with other troops anymore. I would love to use my super hog hybrid that I barely got away with consistently using at TH17 but now it just seems like we’re forced into using like 3 or 4 specific troops unless you don’t want to win. I get metas are a thing but what is the point in making new levels for all these other troops every TH when we can’t even have a little bit of fun with them? Air attacks always seem to get better and better as the years go by and now it just seems silly to think about using anything else.
