i am genuinely curious on what the “mel x langdon” shippers see, ive tried to pull apart their interactions to see if there truly is some sort of “spark” but i genuinely cant. mel and langdon just seem like truly good friends who underestand each other on a level the others cant, especially given the fact that the show literally talks about his wife and kids (regardless of where thats at) and (IMO) mel gives off asexual/lesbian vibes, i just cant picture them actually being in a romantic relationship. ive seen a lot of ppl recently freak out on how mel’s sister said “i can see why you like him” when referring to langdon, saying that is basically confirmation she has romantic feelings for him, but i caught it as langdon really has been the only one whos made an effort to be patient with her and actually get to know her more and she can see that in comparison to other colleagues, ex. santos constantly cutting their convos off by walking away or giving her that harsh sarcasm humor that mel doesnt seem to percieve well.

i can see it on other characters, but them no i literally cant no matter what. im really curious what im missing out on, or if its just me, or what other opinions u guys have.

mel and langdon—am i the only one who thinks they seem like genuine good friends?
