Advice for Small Claims Court

Location: U.S.

Gave money to a friend and they seem to have no intention of paying me back. I withdrew exactly 2000 and gave it to them by hand but I have all the texts and bank statements from when I withdrew the money and when they asked me for it.

My questions are as such.

1. Due to the lacking evidence, is it even worth it to bring this up in small claims?

2. They moved recently so I have no idea of their current address. Do i have too in order to file a claim?

3. They've always had the money to pay me back, but now they have cut me off completely. Will small claims even be able to get me the money?

Appreciate the help and any advice, pretty distraught about the whole situation so this is a big weight off my shoulders.
