Electric central heating

I have a duplex apartment that runs 100% on electricity. I want to remove the storage heaters and replace them with an electric heating system with a central thermostat and timer.

I want to keep the flat at 16°C throughout the winter, so the heating automatically switches on when the room temperature drops below 16°C.

Does this type of heating system exist?
