Is it weird that I'm more upset over UCSD not dropping than the UCI rejection?

Like I can handle the decision either way, but please just let me know so I can move on with my life. I mean the rejection stings but is honestly kind of a relief. The not knowing, on the other hand, is this strangling pain because you're just stuck in this inability to act on anything.
