I'm not sure if it's alright to feel this way about the game
I guess I have to preface this by saying that I have started playing Morimens because of Castor, Pollux, and Doresian which were all men, however, that does not mean to say I am solely a "husbando puller" as I have also enjoyed women characters such as GMurphy, Miryam, Thais, and recently Mouchette.
However, I spent most of my time playing for men as I have given the game a chance because someone recommended the game as a "fair" gacha game with a "good gender ratio".
As such, I guess I'm just getting worried about the future of the game when it comes to their gender ratio as I try to understand Light. Light had said that the three men this year was because "it largely depends on story needs and design progress at the time." Basically, it is "determined by this year's production capacity and story planning."
However, the collab post just dropped about Saya no Uta and I'm pretty sure it will be another female character (Saya, most likely). Which just makes me question this logic - if they can release another woman character "unexpectedly" in a way that is not in the timeline, why can't they also do this for a male character as well?
Why can't they also go against their timeline and add another male character? It's getting somewhat unfair that its just continuous women characters but not a single male character. It's just starting to feel odd - I would rather they just say that "the developers just want to produce more women characters than men" outright than just say "its because of the story planning" at time point.
I would probably get downposted because this is quite a negative sentiment, but I really just want to get my thoughts out of the way about the future of the male characters, as someone that started this because of a recommendation or a "fair gender ratio".
I'm sorry if this wasn't understandable to people, but I do hope that I get my point across in a sense? I do hope that we can get a civil discussion!
