Any idea why I don't get any effects?

Just got a DMT vape pen. I tested the cartridge with both an Ehrlich and Hofmann test kit and both say there's DMT present, but when I hit it I don't get any effects, I am still getting vapor but that's it. I already tried shaking the cartridge for a minute or two, there are no visible crystals.

It came with a 3.7v battery which has multiple settings and I've tried all of them.

I dont know what I could be doing wrong, any advice?
