!!<I just finished a visual novel called Tasogare no Sinsemilla and I really liked it. I thought it was excellent. What I liked the most was the folklore aspect—Japanese folklore, of course. Some things felt realistic, others were more fictional, but overall I found the supernatural elements really interesting. I really enjoy supernatural visual novels.

I’m not a big fan of very realistic, grounded visual novels. The only exception for me is Grisaia no Kajitsu.

About the incest part, I kind of overlooked it because the story itself was excellent. The Shoko route, which had some lolicon elements, wasn’t really my thing either, but like I said, the lore and the story were so good that for me the overall story was still a 10/10.

As for the romance part, surprisingly my favorite was Ginko’s.

Anyway, overall I’d rate the lore and story of the visual novel a 10/10.

With that said, I’d like some recommendations for visual novels similar to this one—something with the same kind of vibe. I’m specifically looking for supernatural stories. I like scenes where the protagonist actually fights. I enjoy when the protagonist is active—when he doesn’t just run away but actually confronts things when monsters or supernatural threats appear. So I like when the protagonist has some kind of power. It doesn’t have to be something insanely powerful, but at least something.

If possible, I’m looking for visual novels similar to Tasogare no Sinsemilla. I also liked another VN from the same developer that came out more recently, Tsukikage no Simulacre. It’s a bit different though, and I’m not sure which one I prefer yet. For now, though, I’m mainly looking for recommendations more like Tasogare no Sinsemilla specifically.
