Many “undetectable” mouse jigglers are actually detectable — I built a free tool to help people check

If anyone here is using a mouse jiggler, I’m genuinely curious — try this and tell me if it detects yours.

Hey everyone — I'm a hardware engineer and built a free open-source Windows app that detects USB mouse jigglers and External Mouse Movers.

I made it because I kept seeing devices online marketed as “undetectable.” From a technical standpoint that sounded questionable, so I wanted to see what the data actually says.

The app uses the Windows Raw Input API and a few techniques:

• Fingerprints USB devices using Vendor ID (VID) / Product ID (PID)
• Analyzes movement patterns (arc geometry, repetition, speed variance)
• Detects perfectly regular 60Hz polling patterns that humans don’t produce
• Generates a report explaining exactly what triggered detection

I tested it against 7 popular jigglers from Amazon.

Results:

  • Most were detected within ~60 seconds
  • Wheel based devices triggered in under 30 seconds
  • Even the expensive “undetectable” ones behaved the same

The most interesting finding:
Even mechanical pad jigglers produce a mathematically distinct arc pattern that looks very different from natural human mouse movement.

Project is free and open source:

Happy to answer technical questions about the detection algorithms.
