Am I Screwed?
I'm doing the quest to kill The Creator's final form (The Father) with the Nuke, I'm a few hours into this run and it has been a royal pain in the ass. I ended up having to save scum a few times, to the point where I had to let Steven take the wheel. I really do not want to have to do this (and the entire Nuke creation questline) over again.
I'm going into this blind and I only know that something is supposed to happen if you delay the explosion of the Nuke for three rounds on the boss' final form, only problem being, does Steven even know how to use the Nuke?
I'm able to get far enough into the battle where my cats either kill The Father without the Nuke (nothing happens) or the cat with the Nuke dies and explodes in front of The Father (nothing happens.) I am seriously lost here on if this quest is still possible with Steven controlling or if I should just start over. I'm not getting any unique dialogue popups or anything beyond Beanies' explanation at the beginning of the battle.
