More help needed for my nephew.
Hey there everyone. I want to thank everyone pouring ideas of places my nephew could volunteer at to complete his community service hours.
We have now been able to secure a means for him to complete them.
My next is. He is in desperate need to get out and meet people his age with similar interests.
He is 17. Very shy and awkward. But a good kid. He likes cars, tractors, heavy equipment, snowmobiles, atvs, and mechanical things in general.
I feel like he would be able to fit in more socially with a crew of kids that are already hanging and engaging in these types of things. I know being the new kid of a group can be difficult, especially with someone like him that needs extra bravery.
So a welcoming crew, or maybe a kid of a crew could do some one on ones with him to help transition into the group.
Do any parents out there have some boys and gals his age that would be open to meeting a new kid?
Does anyone know of any workshops or cheap classes I could get him into to meet new likeminded people?
Much appreciated any direction or leads provided.
