Virtual piggy bank for kids

I built a virtual piggy bank app using bolt for my kids and it's been a game changer for teaching them about money**

Hey parents! I wanted to share a little side project I built that's been super useful in our household.

It's called Virtual piggy bank , basically a digital piggy bank where each kid gets their own account and you can add or subtract money as they earn or spend it.

Here's what it does:

🟢 Track balances in real time — no more "how much do I have?" debates

🔁 Set up recurring transactions — automate weekly allowances, monthly pocket money, whatever your setup is

🎯 Create savings goals — kids can set a target (new toy, game, whatever they're obsessed with) and watch their progress

📜 Full transaction history — so they can actually see where their money went

It's been a surprisingly great way to get my kids interested in saving. Seeing the number go up (and down when they spend!) makes it real for them in a way that physical coins never quite did.
