Saw this TikTok and read the comments and was genuinely annoyed. I’ve never been a huge Arizona fan but upon further reflection I think she gets labeled the villain to easily.

1. The Africa storyline. She gets a grant she applied for while single that would advance her career. Callie decides to go with. Then complains and they breakup. Arizona leaves Africa for Callie and comes home. Callie’s whole “ you had to fly around the world to get me because you flew away” is stupid because she CAME BACK AND GAVE IT UP!

2. Pregnant Callie. She comes back to find out Callie is pregnant. She decides to go all in with pregnant Callie. She accepts who the father is and that Mark (who at the time she was not a fan of which is valid because it’s her girlfriend’s ex lover) is always going to be around. I don’t see this argument often but that shit would suck and she was allowed to be upset . I feel like picking a sperm donor for same sex couples is an important decision that she didn’t get to have after originally not wanting kids.

The comment on the TikTok saying “ Sofia should have gone to the parents whose dream it was” pissed me off. Arizona needing a babysitter a lot is dumb because Callie has said it ,Meredith said it on the stand that they have village in Seattle.they actively help each other out. Callie and her flavor of month don’t have a village in New York. When Derek was gone Meredith had a nanny to be able to balance motherhood and having a successful career but it wasn’t used against her.

Am I getting worked up for nothing?
