Anyone else keeping a backup cooking option because of LPG shortages?
With all the uncertainty around LPG supply and price hikes lately, I didn’t want to be stuck in a situation where I can’t cook at home.
So recently I got a small induction cooktop as a backup. Honestly I thought it would be complicated but it’s actually very easy to use and heats up faster than gas for simple meals like Maggi, eggs, rice etc.
Not saying it replaces LPG completely, but as a backup it gives some peace of mind — especially if there’s supply disruption or emergency situations.
Curious what others here are doing to prepare for this? Any other backup ideas?
If anyone wants, I can share which one I got 🙂
