I just released a short AI film called **Zero Hour Audit**.

It’s a cinematic cyber thriller about a strategist named Maya who has a one-minute window to breach a system everyone believes is impossible to reach.

Instead of trying to make something flashy or overly hyped, I wanted to approach this project more like a traditional short film with story, atmosphere, and a consistent visual style.

The workflow was actually pretty interesting.

The project started with a simple prompt describing Maya’s appearance and character.
From there I generated a set of storyboard frames using **Nano Banana Pro** to visualize the scenes.

Those frames then became the **first-frame images for animation inside Higgsfield Cinema Studio 2.0** in a **21:9 cinematic aspect ratio**. That format was important because I wanted the visuals to feel closer to a streaming series or film rather than standard 16:9 or 9:16 content.

Some alternate scenes especially parts of the intro and background environments were generated using **Kling**, then everything was assembled and edited together in **CapCut**.

The goal wasn’t just to generate clips, but to see if AI tools could be used in a more **structured filmmaking workflow**, where prompts, storyboards, and editing all work together.

It’s still experimental, but the process was surprisingly fun and it opens up interesting possibilities for independent creators.

I experimented with making a cinematic AI short film using a storyboard + animation workflow this is the result. 🤖 🎬
