Bonus vs tips.

Business Law

Location: Oregon, USA I manage a store that is Oregon. My team is divided tips per hour worked equally. As a manager I'm on a bonus structire. My staff is so well trained that at this point, my assistant is making tips that outweigh my monthly bonus take home that is entirely dependent on my lower level team members doing a great job.

I'm happy they're getting extra pay beyond what they get hourly. However I feel neglected that my pay is A:dependent on them doing well and B: people on my schedule are literally taking home more "extra" than I receive taking on all the stress and extra duties.

If this actually legal for me to be neglected? Is there some law I'm unaware of staing management should be paid fairly with compensation to lower level staff? Thanks in advance for any and all advice!
