Update using more data?

So I play on mobile hotspot for right now until I get a new wifi provider and before the most recent update id use about 400-500 mb (out of 5g a month) of data for a 2 hour session. However, ever since the most recent update it literally uses around 400 mb every match. Also i was pinging around 40-60 ms before and now its around 90-110 ms. Is anyone else going through something similar?
