Separate user accounts for work and gaming?
Just got a Legion Pro 7i with a 5080 GPU. First of all, damn this thing is heavy and so is its power adapter. I've been using a Surface Pro for the past 10 years so this will take some getting used to. I may have to get a new laptop bag.
I'm not a gamer and I didn't buy this thing for gaming. I bought it for AI applications. But... since it is a gaming laptop, I figure I should try playing some games on it given the last video game I played was Halo in 2005.
I would rather not have the games installed on a laptop I primarily use for work so in order to keep work and personal separate, I'm wondering if the solution is to create another user account for games?
Has anyone else done this? There seems to be software for managing the GPU to provide an optimal experience for the games. Do the settings from the software just stay with one profile or affect all profiles?
