Submitted most throughout December. I'm trying to understand how I should think about this cycle. I think my results were pretty reflective of most super splitter candidates, but a few things really stuck out to me. 

Per LSD, so far I'm the only sub-3.0 candidate without 5+ years of work experience who wasn't rejected from UCLA. I also seem to be the only non-traditional applicant who wasn't rejected from BU. I'm still in at GULC, and although I had an alumni interview, my interviewer specifically noted that they had never read a personal statement like mine and that they admired me. I would attend GULC if I was admitted with good enough aid, but I'm expecting a WL at best.

I did not write the optional essays for most of my schools and my recommenders were from my final semester in school (so they did not know me well, although I became quite close with one of them).

My dreams of cracking the T6 or T10 were pretty much stamped out with this cycle, but I'm left wondering if I'd leave something on the table if I chose to attend one of my options now. The work I'm being offered is adjacent to my stated law interest, and it will allow me to pursue other coursework, along with other programs that operate within the legal field. Part of me wonders if applying earlier and with more work experience, a higher LSAT (I took mine under really terrible conditions, so I believe I could perform better with more stability), a new and stronger recommendation, and law-related experience would get me over the hump to gain admission to a T20/25.

I want to go into biglaw for at least a few years (for the loans and because I'm really drawn to the rigorous work environment), but I am also interested in public interest/policy/federal clerkship opportunities. Neither of my current options offer a comfortable path to any of those things, which leaves me very nervous.

If anyone has any advice or thoughts, I'd really appreciate hearing them!
