Is RE 7,8,9 playable for a casual who don't play horror games

Hello, just a quick background I've only ever completed RE Revelations, played until chapter 3 of RE Revelations 2, played until the fish part of resident evil 4 gamecube, played co op of resident evil 6 but got bored with it.

Now I've never been into horror games, and at most I've played other games like fnaf which is more of a jumpscate thing, but I've always loved the RE games for the linear and fun stpry and gameplay but I always get frustrated because I don't want the horror elements.

Looking at RE Requiem it's looking like a really really good game, but I'm not sure if I'd enjoy the game if there will be tense horror moments. Anyways I'm mostly a casual single player games enjoyer and I'm planning to buy the bundle with biohazard, requiem, and village but is it gonna be worthit to finish all three or should I just take Requiem instead. Of note among the three games I think biohazard is the game I wouldn't like the most because of it's very very horror type of gameplay
