Empty house

My (29F) now ex (29M) told me he is leaving this relationship a few hours ago and moving out from my house now.

I bought this house by myself a few years ago and he soon after moved in.

He is literally packing everything and leaving by the end of day.

I haven’t much spent in this house without him or his stuffs and feel miserable seeing house without him but his memory.

How do people deal with this?

Should I rent out house and move to apartment?
