*Disney is expanding its Formula 1 partnership with a new F1 ACADEMY collaboration featuring Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, with merchandise, fan experiences, and original content launching this spring.*

Following the recent global launch of the “Fuel the Magic” campaign, Disney is expanding its collaboration with the world of Formula 1, this time with a focus on the next generation of female drivers.

Announced at the South by Southwest® Conference in Austin, Texas, Disney revealed it will be deepening its relationship with Formula 1 through a new partnership with F1 ACADEMY, launching this spring. The initiative will bring Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck into the spotlight through exclusive merchandise, fan experiences, and new content celebrating the spirit of the racing series.

The announcement was made by Tasia Filippatos, President of Disney Consumer Products, as excitement builds around the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix.

**Minnie and Daisy Lead the Collaboration**

As part of the new collaboration, Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck will appear in specially designed merchandise collections, on-site character experiences at events, and original digital content designed to connect Disney storytelling with the world of motorsport.

“Our collaboration with Formula 1 sparked a cultural moment with fans worldwide, and expanding into F1 ACADEMY opens an exciting new chapter in that story,” said Filippatos. “With Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck leading the way, we’re celebrating confidence, friendship and individuality while connecting Disney storytelling with a sport empowering the next generation of female athletes.”

The partnership builds on Disney’s broader effort to connect its characters and stories with global sports culture while reaching younger audiences and new fans.

**Supporting the Next Generation of Women in Motorsport**

Susie Wolff, Managing Director of F1 ACADEMY, said the collaboration reflects the series’ mission to inspire and empower women in motorsport.

“We’re excited to bring Disney’s iconic storytelling to F1 ACADEMY through Fuel the Magic,” Wolff said. “This new chapter with Disney is inspired by Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck’s friendship that embodies the power of women supporting women. By bringing together two worlds united by creativity, ambition, and a belief in what’s possible, we’re building pathways that inspire and empower future fans, drivers and leaders to shape the future of our sport.”

Launched in 2023, F1 ACADEMY is a driver development series designed to increase female participation in motorsport and provide a pathway to higher levels of racing.

**Disney and Formula 1 Continue to Grow Their Partnership**

The expansion into F1 ACADEMY marks another step in Disney’s growing partnership with Formula One, which has gained significant global attention through the “Fuel the Magic” initiative.
According to Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1 and President & CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix, the collaboration reflects the shared values between Disney and the sport.

“Disney is a global storytelling powerhouse that unites young and old generations alike, while celebrating individuality,” Prazer said. “It’s therefore a natural step as part of our collaboration for it to support F1 ACADEMY, a series that champions women, encourages them to get involved in our sport and ultimately thrive. It marks another momentous step in how we continue to build impactful integrations that not only deliver enormous fan engagement but underline the values of our wider sport.”

As the partnership launches this spring, fans can expect to see Minnie and Daisy bringing Disney magic to racetracks and fans around the world through new experiences, storytelling, and merchandise.
