I want to tell him…

I want to tell my crush that I am crushing on him, or atleast give off a very big and clear hint. It’s been a while now and I just need to get it off chest. Problem is we really don’t speak all that much so I feel like saying “I like you” or suggesting we hang out would be too weird. I do feel a lot of tension between us, and maybe there is about a 50/50 chance the feelings are reciprocated. I was considering saying something along the lines of “I just want to let you know I find you very attractive” is that too weird? I don’t mind being forward but want to make sure I chose the right words. Any advice appreciated!!
