KC17 sound change?

Did they reduce the sound of kc17 unsuppressed fire? I use my kc17 with sandstorm vertical muzzle and the sound before was insanely loud I kinda liked it. Stopped using it recently for some other guns but I used kc again the sound kind of reduced I put my same headphones on same (full) volume I can sense the sound change. Did anyone else notice or I'm just going deaf
