Stanford ICME or Cambridge Scientific Computing

Hi, I received master's level offers for both of these programs, and I would like to ask for advice on deciding between the two. My aim is to a PhD in the US, though I may apply for a European PhD too.

How is the ICME MS program? I'm less familiar with it compared to Cambridge SC. ICME is advertised as a terminal professional degree -- is it common for people to go for PhDs after?
