Dating someone with history of dv?

I 39M met 38F and we clicked right away. she seems like a good person however she recently told me her first marriage that lasted two years the man was abusive towards her. she admitted her second marriage lasted few months and admitted she puncged him in the face. I really like her however this is very concerning. I don’t have a criminal record and kept out of trouble. not even a speeding ticket. it’s been tough finding someone I like at this age but is this worth a try or should I walk away?
