Is this too much thermal paste? Installed new cooler

Was getting 75-80C in some games with my new 9800X3D, ordered same phantom spirit cooler but with digital display screen as an excuse to reapply the thermal paste.

Still kind of new, so at first I do the buttered toast method and figured there could be air pockets causing higher temps.

I’m actually getting 10C degrees lower under load in games, which is good, but now I’m afraid it was too much paste?
