ND filters work flow between stills and videos

Hi all, was wondering what everyone’s workflow with taking videos and stills on the go with the same lens? Wondering if I can just keep my ND filter on or if anyone has a recommendation on some filters? Mostly outside.

the lens is the Fujifilm xf 16-50mm f2.8-4.8 r wr with the X-T5.
