Before I start talking abt Cloti, I want to apologies in advence for typos or grammar mistakes. English is not my first language and when I know that others read my texts Idk how to English 😅. And I'm also sry for the lenght of the text and that its all over the place.

This topic has been discussed a million times alrdy and I most likely won't say anything new but Idk I still wanna talk abt it.

Also I wanted to add that I personally don't like the childhood friends to lovers trope. Everytime I see that in asisn dramas I roll my eyes. What I do like tho r age gap relationships where the women is a bit older then the guy. And I also like blonde guys with brunette girls, bcs of my fave manga/anime Maid Sama. Based on these I should be a clearith shipper but Cloti makes more sense and they also look better toghether.

Anyway I loved FFVII years ago and I also played the OG back then. Unfortunatly life happend and I forgot abt some things that I loved as a teen. I did replay the game but when I confuse things pls let me know. Anyway I always loved Cloud and Tifa together. I never shipped Cloud with Aeris. In the og she sometyms annoyed me but oh boy in the remake they made her even more annoying. Tbh I can't understand how ppl think that Cloud is in love with her. There r also Clotis who say that Cloud did love her, that he loves both the girls but I just don't see it. The reason y Cloud thinks that he loves Aeris is bcs Zack most likly told him abt her and since Cloud has a problem with his identity/ptsd? and thinks that some of Zacks memories r his, he thinks that he loves Aeris. He doesnt! He only "loves" her as a friend, as a companion that's it. He loves her like he loves Barret, Red, Yuffie and the rest of the gang. He also loved Zack as a friend, he looked up to him and wanted to be cool like him to impress who? Tifa! And also be a hero like Sephiroth to impress Tifa aswell. There is no one that Cloud doesn't cherish. He's also a sensitive soul. The reason y some ppl ship Cloud with aeris and think that its a tragic love story is bcs she got killed by Sephiroth. For alot of ppl this is the most memorable scene in the game, for me its when Cloud and Tifa r in Clouds subconscious to bring the real Cloud back. Don't get me wrong I still love Aeris death scene (in the OG), it's beautifully made and also really sad at the same time. I also don't hate Aeris as a character, I love all of the characters. It's the cleariths that annoy me. Also when we look at the OG game Aeris has 20 more Affection points then Tifa I believe which is also a reason y ppl think that Cloud and Aeris r endgame. They say that u have to be not nice towards aeris if u want to go on the date with Tifa. I'm sry but if Aeris and Cloud r endgame and should be canon then y did the devs kill her off? I know that it's part of the story bcs she's a ancient she had to die but Cloud already went to so much shit so they can at lesst give him a happy ending. And I mean they did, he's in a realtionship and has a family with the women he truely loves. Tifaaaaaa! I genuinely don't understand y they want Cloud to be misersble and alone instead of him being happy with the love of his life Tifa. AC is not a good movie but Tifa and Cloud live together, they look after Marlene and also adopt Denzel. Cloud started to distance himself bcs he was sick with geostigma and he didnt wanted them to see him like that and also doesnt wanted to infect them. Thats y he slept in the church for like 2 weeks. On top of that he ran over the flowers Aeris told him not destroy bcs he saw Tifa lying there. He clearly cares the most abt Tifa. And I mean the guy is traumatised, he still needs time to recover. Obviously he feels guilty over Aeriths and Zack passing which he shouldnt be bcs these 2 r united now in death. Something cleariths dont like at all lmao. Zack&Aerith and Cloud&Tifa r cpuples get over it. Something Im not sure abt is, was Tifa a last addition to the game bcs of that reason? Cleariths say she was added to replace Aerith and that Cloud doesnt end up being alone. Idk. Also I mean how does Cloud save Aeris? She's dead. How does he save Tifa? She's alive. He never broke the promise to save and protect her. However in rebirth Cloud pushes Tifa away since Sephiroth messes with his head while in the og he beat up Aeris. I dont stalk their sub however reddit recommended me the post where cleariths use this scene as a gotcha moment. Whatever. Like this one was also stupid. They also say that he's more sad and cries when Aerith dies but when Sephiroth hurts Tifa in Nibelheim, he didn't cried he only touched her cheek so that means he doesn't really love her. No. Tifa is still alive, she only got hurt and didnt die like aeris, there is nothing to cry for. It also wouldn't fit the scene. Srsly if Tifa dies Cloud would go berserk. Tifa is the most important person in his life. If it wasnt for Tifa the story wouldnt even exist. Cloud would've never become a soldier and when he had never become a Soldier he would've never met Zack which means that Aeris would've never fallen for him either. I also wonder if she would accept the real Cloud? I mean she likes guys like Zack not like Cloud. So would she stop him for being his true self? Cloud and aeris only know each other for like 2 weeks. U can't fall in love in a short time and love at first sight doesn't exist. They know nothing abt each other and Cloud isn't even in his right state of mind. U can only find some1 attractive in 2 weeks but true love? Not at all. Also for me everything that comes after the OG game is like fanfiction bcs we obvsly got all of these sequels, prequels, novels etc. bcs the game sold well. Otherwise they wouldnt milk that franchise. And in the og game aeris is dead and Cloud does everything for Tifa, Tifa stays by his side no matter what and they've sex under the highwind. That's all I need to know that Cloud and Tifa r a couple. Cloud even wore a dress and makeup bcs he wanted to save her. No men would do that unless he isn't in love. No one does that for a "childhood friend". And when it comes to clesriths Cloud and Tifa werent even friends back then and Tifa manipulated nd abused him apperently. Then y does he go to great lengths for her? In remake Cloud seems to be annoyed everytime Aeris throws herself onto him while with Tifa his body language is lovely. Hes more open towards her and also talks and looks softer at her. He also doesnt like it when other guys show interest in Tifa. What they did tho that seemed a bit out of character was him looking at Aeris when she wore a diffrent dress when they were abt to go to don chorneo. They did change other characters aswell for the worst but whatever. The only reason y I like the remakes is bcs they finally fleshed out the relationship between Cloti 💖💞. And since rebirth flopped (im sad that it did but they should've sticked to the og story instead of multiverse bs) I really hope that they will finally end the LTD in part 3! I also wonder if there r more female or male cleariths bcs alot of women don't care if the guy they want doesnt love them back. Like I have friends who want to be in a reltationship with a guy but he doesnt love them and when I tell them u can't force him to love u they're like idc when I want him he has to love me back. And I also see that with cleariths, they don't see who Cloud wants to be in a relationship with. And the male cleariths probably don't want Tifa to be with Cloud bcs she gets slutshamed alot. They see Tifa as a easy girl who sleeps with everyone while Aeris is a cute innocent girl. Aren't both Tifa and Cloud inexperienced when it comes to relationships?! It's not Tifas fault that she get slutshaned its the man who do it. U can also see the sexual tension between those 2, Cloud looks at her lips often bcs he wants to kiss her. They almost kissed in Gongaga. And when they got interrupted Cloud looked pissed. He really wanted to kiss her! Thankfully they kissed on their date! The only girl Cloud kissed was Tifa bcs he wants to. He doesnt want to kiss aeris. He would've if he wanted to but he don't. And The scenes with Aeris arent even romantic its just side quest and normal dialouge. Tho 2 weeks arent enough to fall in love, you can still hook up. If he wanted to be intimate with Aeris he could've. However the only women Cloud wants to be intimate with is Tifa! The only problem is both of them r shy abt, they show intrest in each other but not too much. Which is good bcs both r a mystery to each other. Does he/she love me or not? Also to comeback to the whole Tifa manipulates Cloud thing. They didnt had time to talk abt these things. In the og game you go from one place to the other place and saving the world has a bigger priority at that time. And she also was confused abt the things he told them. She also had to her think abt her memories. Cloud isn't mentally well either, she can't just say all these things to him right away, it would do more harm then good. The only person that knows and truely loves the real Cloud is Tifa. Also I don't think he's asexual, he's just only into Tifa. And the song that Aerith sung in rebirth was out of character and does not fit into FFVII at all.

The only Person Cloud truely loves is Tifa! No love triangle.
