We exchanged numbers off an app. He hasn't responded in 48 hours. When to assume he's lost interest and unmatch?

Matched with a guy on Hinge a week ago. We messaged for a few days. Had a great conversation going, as we have a ton in common. Ended up exchanging numbers, which I thought was a great sign.

I haven't heard anything in 48 hours. My last message to him was a selfie, which makes this sting a whole lot more. fwiw, at least two of my photos on my profile are very recent, and look exactly how I looked in my selfie.

Anyways, should I just cut my losses and assume he didn't like what he saw? (Or didn't like something else)

Would it be worth it to reach out again in a few days? I'm just disheartened because of how incredibly well our convo was going. I could totally understand if it felt forced or like there was little interest on either side.

Also, what is the protocol for unmatching? Yay or nay?
