I’ve been trying some fragrances that Rihanna has reportedly worn or been associated with over the years. I know her favorite brand is By Kilian, but I’m not going to talk about that here.

Nishane – Hundred Silent Ways 7/10

This perfume is blended perfectly but it's very understated and maybe too soft for my liking. It's not a bad scent. It's probably too safe. It is a soft peach that's just like an essence to my nose. I'm more of a gourmand and heavier fruit lover.

Frederic Malle – Acne Studios 4/10

Fabric softener and baby powder amped up with aldehydes, smells highly synthetic, masking as cutting edge and innovative. No - glade room spray and Downy fabric softener do this better. Very disappointing.

Parfums de Marly – Oriana 6,5/10

This smells like a brighter version of Love Don’t Be Shy. I like it, but I don’t think I’d need both in my collection.

Byredo – Bal d’Afrique 10/10

Bal d’afrique smells like the girl who just took an everything shower, put on a freshly laundered cashmere set & baked a batch of oatmeal cookies. Love!

Overall, these fragrances are very different from each other, and my ratings ended up being all over the place too.

Curious which one is your favorite ?
