Does EA seriously want everyone to hang it up today?

Do they not realize you can’t put a team together now? Just hopped online thinking I’d have to pick up a couple new msps, icons, heros, whatever to start out the season. Was excited to see Lemieux, Jagr, Hejduk, Laine, Arnott, etc on the banners….These salary combos have to be 1.5x to 2x the amount they offer or they need to add something like 75k to your starting salary. This is insane. Are we all not supposed to playing with 95-99 overall cards this late in the year if we’ve been playing since day one? They expect us to want to ditch our high end cards and all just play with base cards? Good marketing there EA. Holy shit
