Asus motherboards still a bad pick or have they fixed their reputation and products

I just bought an ASUS Rog Strix X870a motherboard and now I’m seeing shorts from like 3 years ago about how Asus products are shit and people saying that they are now avoiding them from now on. Is Asus a good pick or should I return my motherboard?
