Does my supervisor like me?

I work remotely in a student work position. I have a supervisor who is close in age to me. We regularly have one on one meetings and sometimes chat before we start working. I recently developed a crush on him.

The situation started out when I texted him showing him my appreciation for teaching me so much and how I appreciate him as a supervisor. He said I made his day and that I'm awesome to work with. Once I taught him something. After I told him how I knew it, he smiled and looked at me and smiled harder. Later he found out I was going through a breakup and he tells me stuff like I hope things get better for you. He also has said to take care of myself.

He has been very kind to me and I wounder if he could feel more and is trying to keep professional boundaries or is he just a very nice person
