Bad teammates or weird tech?

So I’m new to this game, and I’ve played probably 40-ish rounds. But every time I get hooked, I have teammates unhook me when the killer is right there and then they immediately start healing me and then I get hit and re-hooked. So they’re basically locking me into the healing animation for a second, but that gives the killer enough time to hit both me and my teammate because I’m blocked on both sides(which prevents me from running). Am I supposed to be able to get out of this or is this just them playing poorly? Because it happens nearly every round with different people. And I don’t see this being used as technique anywhere online??
