How Many Days for Tokyo & Alps Travel?

I'm in the process of planning a trip to Central Japan & the Japanese Alps, and the focus of the trip is to chase the orange and red autumn colors!

This is the plan that I have for travel:

🗼 Tokyo (4 days, fly in 11/16-11/20)

⛩️ Nikko (2 days, arrive 11/20-11/22)

🍁 Nagano (2 days, arrive 11/22-11/24)

🍂 Takayama (2 days, arrive 11/24-11/26)

🏯 Kanazawa (2 days, arrive 11/26-11/28)

🗼 Tokyo (2 days, arrive 11/28, fly out 11/29)

I know with weather patterns, time, and distance from mountains to the coast, the ideal time to see fall colors can vary greatly.

Is this too much travel? Since I will be starting and ending in Tokyo, I would love any feedback and suggestions for the order of travel to save time in traveling, and if I should change how much time I spend in certain cities. Thank you!
