How can I respectfully tell my dormmate that the sound his keyboard makes genuinley makes me want to end my life

Hello, I (21M) live in a dorm with my roommate (22M). We've been roommates for a couple of years and we're also friends. This year he got a new like fancy keyboard that he bluetooth connected to his PC and its fucking LOUD and obnoxious. Like seriously, when he types on that thing for more than five seconds at a time the rage that floods my system is nothing like I've ever experienced. I remember once a couple of weeks ago he was using the keyboard while I was trying to sleep and I had to ask his to keep it down and he asked if I could wear airpods and I said I wasn't going to so he switched to his regular laptop keyboard. He also has a fucked up sleep schedule so he was doing an assignment at 6:00 AM once and that fucking keyboard woke me up. IT WOKE ME UP, that's how loud it is. Today especially I reached my breaking point bc he's been typing nonstop with that damn thing for HOURS and i've been blasting music to cover-up the sound bc keeping music as a regular level doesn't work but I feel like I shouldn't like have to do all that? I want him to get rid of that fucking machine bro, but I'm aware I don't have the right to ask so, I don't know what to do. I don't think it bothers our other roommate so I don't want to seem high maintenence and I don't want to seem like a hypocrite either cuz what if I also type too loud or do something bothersome and now I look like an asshole or something idk. We have finals coming up and I study best in my dorm and I don't feel like its fair for me to need to leave to avoid that sound especially bc he never leaves the dorm at all.
