Forgiveness

So I’m trying to go deeper into my godly journey and there is just one person that I can’t seem to forgive. When I’m not around them it’s easy for me to forgive them, but as soon as I have to be in their presence again every ounce of forgiveness is gone. I know the Bible says to stay away from certain people, but my question is can you also forgive someone while staying away from them?
