Standard procedure or just me?

Question

Hello,

I completed every part of the security clearance process. Which included a poly, I passed, and psychological evaluation. I thought that was the last of security processing, so I was just waiting on the final offer. Lo and behold, I got a call from a special agent saying I need to do an interview with the department specifically and not just with a contractor investigator. Based off the email, it says we’re going to talk about foreign contacts and international travel.

My question is whether this is standard procedure or are my foreign contacts and international travel raising red flags? B/c I’ve listed everything on the SF-86 and we’ve talked about it both in poly and psych eval.

Thanks!
