\# Material

For starters, I asked for slight veining in the leather and that was absolutely delivered. The veining is subtle and provides soft variations between the pebbling that in my opinion, give the leather natural look and beautiful texture. The matte finish to the leather is perfect and does not have a plastic like shine as I have seen on some other bags. As a darker red with brown undertones, this bag is truly a chameleon and I love it. This Weinheimer Togo is soft but firm (not too firm) and holds its shape while standing upright. Side note: I cannot wait for the slouch. The chèvre interior is so soft and a perfect color to balance the bold and beautiful exterior.

\# Construction

The stitching is precise and uniform with the correct angle; and the glazing work on the outer edges is clean and perfectly smooth. The turn lock is straight and when closed, the sangles sit evenly. The brushed finish to the palladium hardware is everything I expected and more, with a cool silvery tone and pearling that is better than some of my other bags.

\# Accuracy

At first glance, the placement of the stamp appears to be off centered. However, this is due to the horseshoe; and upon closer look, the placement and spacing are correct. The foil is neat and clean. One thing I want to point out is the depth of the foil stamp - it is perfect. I have other bags where the foil stamp has been pressed in too hard and appears to be sunken in and sits below the surface of the grain. The shape and silhouette of the bag is accurate for a Birkin 40 retourné. The flap sits nicely and I don’t feel like I have to use a lot of force to close the bag when it’s empty.

\# Communication

Mark’s was great to work with. He is very direct and straightforward, but also listens to your wants and concerns. In my original PSP’s, the interior zipper pull was not the color that I had originally specified. The issue was corrected; but more importantly; Mark was apologetic, took ownership of the error and did everything to provide what I wanted.

\# Overall

This seller was an absolute pleasure to work with and definitely delivered came through for me on this order. This bag exceeded my expectations and at a very reasonable price point. I am already planning my next order with him.
