Sooo… about transporting to flip items in Carleon market… is there a catch?

Besides the red zone that is dsngerous to transport items through, is there an actual catch to the money making side?

What I mean is like…. I see a lot of items, especially combat gear, that seeks for much higher in Carleon. But if I go and bring a bunch to sell there will it sit in the market for months because nobody buys in Carleon or something? Why are the prices so high?
