6 years does it even work?

I’ve had my implant since I was 12 I’m 18 now and because of no local doctors trained for removal In my small town I have no idea the status of my implant when I touch my arm it’s weak my periods have been off and on still I only spotted alittle bit and cried a lot for 2 days I’m pretty worried i don’t know what it’s doing to my body or if I can even get pregnant and if I should use protection it’s been 6 almost 7 years and I still have no luck finding clinic.
