Vomo vs Otter, which one is actually better for long meetings?
Otter
Pros:
- Very polished app
- Live transcription during Zoom / Google Meet
- Easy to search old meetings
Cons:
- Transcription limits depending on the plan
- Bots joining meetings can feel awkward in some calls
- Pricing can get expensive if you record a lot
VOMO
Pros:
- Much cheaper overall
- No transcription length limits (good for 2–3 hour meetings)
- Generates structured notes and summaries automatically
- Can import audio, voice memos, or even YouTube links
Cons:
- Not as “meeting-platform integrated” as Otter
- Less well-known so fewer integrations
My takeaway
If you want live meeting transcription with lots of integrations, Otter is still solid.
If your main goal is record → transcribe → get organized notes, especially for long meetings or recordings, VOMO feels like a better value.
