Vox a Televangelist?

Okay so I know I'm a bit late on watching season 2, but this just clicked. Vox admits being a leader of a group in the first episode.

So since he's a TV, does that mean he could have been a televangelist when he was alive?

Sorry if this is stupid obvious, but it just came to me.
