Cannot download apk to patch

Seems to be having an issue downloading the apk to patch. The download does start and i can see a partial download but a second later it disappears with the error "Failed to Download ". Disabled play protect also but that did not help. I have other apk files on my cell but nothing from apkpure is downloading.
