Lisbon trip start of June - food and attractions suggestions
Hey all,
Looking for some suggestions and advice. My wife and I are taking our 14 year old daughter to Europe first time at start of June. Our last 4 days of the trip will be in Lisbon.
I visited Lisbon on a work trip 8 or so years ago and loved it so I advocated to get my family there with me.
Now I’ve booked a hotel near the CAM and am looking for suggestions on what we should definitely put on our agenda for attractions and food.
I’m reading we probably need to book some dinner reservations and potentially some activities in advance. Were Americans and my teenager doesn’t have the most adventurous pallet and I have a seafood allergy so anything that only serves ocean sourced entrees is a no go.
I’d like to take them to some cool spots like a castle or other interesting historic sites, they will want to do some shopping, and possibly get to like a beach club or a way to easily access the ocean if that doable. Not sure if that is possible with a teenager.
End of the day want to make it fun and memorable without traveling far outside of Lisbon. Definitely need to hit some gem coffee/pastry spots and good local lunch spots.
Reddit help me make Lisbon the best part of our EU trip.
