Dating is exhausting and just…upsetting.

I don’t know where I’m going wrong. Meet someone, things are great for a few months and all the sudden the same job they had for all that time is prioritized over even a simple text message so you’re left alone without even being check on. You reach out to next to no reply or even been, no reply. You spend a month dwelling on it, they act like it wasn’t anything big and insist you’re still together. In your head you’ve already checked out. You end it.

Shortly after you meet someone else. Texting all the time periodically. Respect each others time type thing. You hang out a bit. Sleep together a couple times. Now…hours after text are sent they get replied to. The, what are you up to text gets instantly read and…nothing said for a bit.

Overthinking makes me wanna do multiple things. Ask if they wanna meet up. Stay home and dwell. Go out with my bestie. None of it makes me feel good though because realistically I’d like someone to think about me enough to invite me somewhere.

I’m just shot mentally today. Maybe a bit exhausted from life and literally starting a new job today. The only piece of my puzzle that’s missing is my person, whoever or wherever they are.

How do you date in your 30s now? I feel like it’s so much harder than anyone makes it out to be.
